The K300 Race Committee decided today to postpone their first race of the winter, The Season Opener. The committee heard concerns about travel safety and trail conditions from numerous mushers and decided to hold off one week to kick-off the 2022-23 racing season.
The Season Opener is now scheduled for Saturday, December 10th and registration remains open until Thursday, December 8th. Those who have already registered do not need to do so again. REGISTER HERE. Rules and trail details will be posted along with the race roster next Friday, December 9th.
The Holiday Classic is still slated for the following week on Saturday, December 17th.
