The K300 Race Committee has decided for the second consecutive week to postpone the annual Holiday Classic, a 50 mile race that starts in Bethel. Current forecasts call for a temperature of about -20 with winds of up to 10 mph this Saturday with a warming trend predicted for next week. With the expectation of more moderate weather, the committee felt that putting the race off for one more week would be in the best interest of dogs and mushers. Trail details will be announced next week.
