Our trail-marking crew did some scouting yesterday and, not surprisingly, they reported poor conditions throughout the area around Bethel. Other reports note that in many areas where there was standing water on the river ice during the recent thaw, there is now a thin layer of ice with water remaining beneath, making travel treacherous.
We will try again to get 100 Mile Challenge in next week, on Saturday, March 18th. Registration remains open but those who have already registered to not need to do so again.
The Campout Race is now pushed back one week as well. We'll hope to hold that race March 25-26.
