The Kuskokwim 300 Race Committee is proud to announce yet another purse increase for the 2025 K300, which is scheduled to start on Friday, January 24. Teams in the 46th Annual Race will compete for $200,000 in prize money, an increase of $15,000 from last year. The top finisher will now take home a prize of $30,000 but the added money will be spread among all prize winners, which includes the top 25 finishers.
Registration for the 2025 K300 opens on Monday, October 7. The first 30 mushers to sign up are guaranteed a spot in the race while any additional registrants will be placed on a waiting list.
The K300 Race Committee hosts 7 races each year, including the Bogus Creek 150 and the Akiak Dash. They expect to announce increases to those purses in the coming months.
