This morning the K300 Race Committee made the difficult decision to postpone the Bogus Creek 150, despite good snow cover and ice thickness, as a severe cold snap continues to impact the region going into the weekend. Forecasts now call for windchills dipping to -40 Sunday morning, posing a significant risk to mushers, dogs and the many volunteers who make our races possible. Additionally, even colder temperatures in the days leading up to race have made it difficult for our crew to put finishing touches on the race trail after the storm earlier this week. We will announce the new schedule for the Bogus Creek 150 at a later date but it will be after the Kuskokwim 300, which is still very much on track for a start on Friday, January 23.

It is a tough but necessary call to postpone the Bogus Creek 150 when temperatures drop to levels that are dangerous for both the mushers and the dogs. When I take a quick break, I usually just check out truyện tranh since it’s simple and quick to use. Safety has to come first in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, and waiting for a warmer window ensures that the race remains a true test of skill rather than a survival situation!
Safety definitely comes first when dealing with such extreme temperatures, and postponing the race is a wise move to protect both the mushers and their incredible dog teams. It’s a tough call for everyone involved, but ensuring that the conditions are manageable is essential for a fair and successful event. Hopefully, the weather breaks soon so this iconic trek can get back on track safely!

Someone linked me to Tiktok Games and I ended up spending a whole evening there. They have these bite-sized games that are perfect for short attention spans — most take under five minutes to get into. Reminded me of the flash game era in a good way.

Snow Rider is built as an endless runner, meaning there’s no finish line. Each run is different, with changing obstacle patterns and increasing speed.
