Jason Pavila of Kwethluk was the first musher to pass through the Tuluksak Checkpoint, arriving at 10:36 and departing at 10:39.
He was followed by Fr. Alexander Larson, in at 10:43, out at 10:44.
Next was Richie Diehl at 11:00, Matt Failor at 11:01 and Sam Brewer at 11:06, none of whom stopped at the checkpoint.
Thus far, no mushers have dropped any dogs.
