We host not only the famous Kuskokwim 300, but the Bogus Creek 150, the Akiak Dash as well as many other local short distance races. Started in 1980, the Kuskokwim 300 Race Committee's mission
is to further the interest in dog sled racing; to re-establish historic trails in the Lower Kuskokwim area of the State of Alaska; to establish and maintain an organization to foster these and other activities including dog sled races for the recreation, instruction and education of the members, as well as the general public.
We are proud to carry on the dog sled racing tradition within the Yukon Kuskokwim Delta. The Committee hopes to continue rebuilding a strong dog mushing community within our region, incorporating young and local mushers as well as including world class mushers.
